*Our little nest*

*This is our sweet home wich is 100 years old. may be more than that....Hans bought it some 20 years a go. since then it has been renovated two times. and curruntly looking like this. The house is situated in the old part of the village and has a small garden.

*The odest wooden bridge in Switzerland and Europe

*The 14th Century bridge spans the "Reuss"river next to lake Luzern. Is 204 m (670 ft) long. Constructed in 1333....Inside the bridge each roof panel has aunique painting of Swiss legend in it..

*The fire of 1993 which destroyed many of historic paintings represented a major loss for Switzerland nevertheless the successful restoration and reconstruction has returned the "Kapellbrücke" to where it belongs.

*Adjoining the bridge is the octagonal 140 ft  "Wasserturm" (water tower) wich is said to have served as many things from prison to treasury.
